Important Facts

The winner of the 2010 Players Amateur is awarded an exemption to play in the 2011 Heritage held in April.

Driving Range

Driving Range Hours of Operation - 6:30 am to Dusk

Caddies

Players who requested caddies will be assigned one at registration. Caddie Fees are $50 per round including gratuity and must be paid at registration.

Gratuities

Bag Drop, Locker Room and Bar Attendants are at your service. Any gratuities are at your discretion and are strongly encouraged.

Mandatory Contestant Meeting

All contestants must attend a meeting on Tuesday night inside the locker room at 7:00. Attendance is mandatory. There is also a contestant only dinner on Thursday at 7:00 in the men’s locker room.

Special Notices

Notice to Competitors Under Age 21

The legal age for alcohol consumption in South Carolina is 21.  Anyone under 21 observed drinking alcohol or attempting to obtain alcohol on Belfair premises will be withdrawn from the Tournament and asked to leave the grounds.  There will be no exceptions. 

You must wear your official tournament photo ID badge to all functions and when using the Fitness and Sports Center.

Belfair House Rules

No hats can be worn in the dining room.

Use of cell phones is prohibited in the Clubhouse, golf course, practice range, putting green and activity center.

Bermuda length shorts are acceptable attire in the Grill Room on any evening.

Denim fabric of any color, in any form of clothing is not permitted in any Belfair facility.

Shirts must be tucked in on the course and inside clubhouse.

Tee shirts, shorts more than four inches above the knee, cargo shorts and cargo pants are not acceptable attire in the dining rooms.

Code of Conduct

Dear Contestants & Guests,

Welcome to the Players Amateur and the Belfair plantation. The Players Amateur staff believes that you make up the best that amateur golf has to offer and that is why you have been invited to participate in the Players Amateur. With this invitation comes the responsible of representing the game of golf as well as your respected Universities or Country. In order to assure the conduct of all Contestants and guests, the Players Amateur will enforce a "Code of Conduct". Furthermore, Contestants and Guests who fail to abide by the "Code of Conduct" are subject to disciplinary action which are include but not limited to the ejection from the field and removal from the tournament grounds immediately. Every Contestant and Guest must sign this agreement prior to participation in the tournament and any tournament related function.   Thank you for your attention to this matter and I look forward to a great week of golf.
